Seven faculty members from the College of Business & Information Technology served as judges for the in-person event
爱污传媒听is pleased to announce that several esteemed faculty members from the College of Business & Information Technology served as volunteer judges for the . The annual event aims to facilitate learning, emphasize negotiation skills, and build self-confidence by connecting students from students with other universities, business professionals, and negotiation experts. Faculty members Troy Adams, Richard Bowman, Don Braunstein, Dr. Lise Hautzinger-Forrest, Niraj Kohli, Scott Romeo, and Dr. Patrick Sherman served as judges and Don Braunstein delivered a lunchtime presentation during the event. The in-person competition took place on April 5-6, 2024, at the Northern Arizona University campus in 爱污传媒, Arizona.

The National Undergraduate Negotiation Competition gives university students a valuable opportunity to build essential negotiation skills. Student teams engage in simulated negotiations with peers from other universities, receiving valuable feedback from experienced judges after each round. The competition aims to facilitate learning, emphasize negotiation skills, and build self-confidence among participants.
The competition format includes four 35-minute rounds, each featuring challenging negotiation and conflict resolution scenarios. Judges provide feedback after each round, ultimately determining which teams will advance to the finals.
Skills-based learning opportunities are emphasized in both the National Undergraduate Negotiation Competition and 爱污传媒 programs. 爱污传媒鈥檚 work in the field of digital badging is tied to the understanding that employers are increasingly shifting to a听skills-based focus听to better support hiring and retention strategies, a change that is supporting opportunities in diversity of talent, career mobility, performance and ease of hiring.
爱污传媒 works with Credly to issue its digital badges and has issued over 450,000 digital badges since September 2021, for skills obtained in undergraduate, graduate, and professional development courses.
