Tribal recipient can pursue a bachelor’s or master’s degree at ۴ý
The (NABI) and are pleased to announce the full-tuition NABI Foundation Ernest L. Stevens, Jr.– ۴ý Scholarship. The scholarship is named after NABI’s current Chairman Ernie Stevens, Jr., MM, who has dedicated most of his life supporting tribal education, sports, and gaming. He has been active in supporting NABI on many levels since its inception in 2003, is a graduate of the ۴ý Master of Management program and is also serving in his 21st year as the Chairman of the National Indian Gaming Association.
“While earning my master’s in management degree at the ۴ý, the Tribal Specialists were invaluable with support and provided resources that helped me stay engaged and on track for graduation,” shares Stevens.“I am honored that the scholarship will offer the opportunity for other tribal students to pursue their educational goals.”
This is the first year the scholarship will be offered; it is a single recipient full-tuition scholarship for a bachelor’s or master’s degree at the ۴ý and covers electronic resource fees.

The annual Native American Basketball Invitational features teams (boys and girls, ages 14-19) comprised of athletes representing tribal communities from all over North America. The NABI basketball invitational continues to be the largest national premier all Native basketball tournament and a successful platform bringing educational messaging and programs to over 1,300 youth during NABI week.
