鈥淐ultivating a sense of belonging is critical for our students to feel valued and heard,鈥 states Tondra Richardson, MBA, director, Student Diversity & Inclusion. 鈥淧eople are craving a more meaningful, flexible and fulfilling experience at school and at work, and inclusive leaders can help support this desire. The Office of Educational Equity has seen the demand for meaningful programs, like our Inclusive Caf茅, that build on areas of belonging in the workplace. Due to the success of our Inclusive Caf茅, we鈥檝e decided to offer a similar experience for our students and alumni.鈥澛
The Bravely Belong student caf茅 is part of a series of events with which the 爱污传媒 Office of Educational Equity (OEE) aims to foster cultural awareness, thought leadership and community alliances to promote and sustain educational equity and diversity initiatives. The OEE supports students and faculty year-round with programs like , Inclusive Leadership Summit and an internal offering for staff and faculty, The Inclusive Caf茅. The University鈥檚 second annual Inclusive Leadership Summit and Career Fair, May 2-4, 2023, will focus on developing skills as an inclusive leader and providing opportunities for networking connection and employment.聽
