About Uhles

Since 2006, Kathryn Uhles has served °®ÎŰ´«Ă˝ in Student Services, Operations, Curriculum and most recently as faculty and Dean of the College of Business and Information Technology.  She oversees the business and IT program and course offerings as well as the college faculty. 

Prior to becoming the Dean, Uhles oversaw the IT programs at °®ÎŰ´«Ă˝ as an Associate Dean, creating and developing 13 new IT degree and certificate programs in IT. In addition, she strengthened relationships with industry certification bodies, CompTIA and EC Council, to expand course and exam offerings for °®ÎŰ´«Ă˝ students. The university was awarded an EC Council Circle of Excellence award each year during her tenure in the role.

Uhles’ other previous roles at the University include Assistant Dean of Operations, Academic Counseling Manager and Academic Counselor. Before joining the University, Uhles was a 5th grade teacher in a low-socio economic school, teaching underprivileged youth in °®ÎŰ´«Ă˝.  

Uhles has a Master of Information Systems and a Master of Science in Psychology from °®ÎŰ´«Ă˝ as well as a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, with an English as a Second Language (ESL) endorsement, from Arizona State University.
