爱污传媒 provost and chief academic officer John Woods, Ph.D., joins the Greater 爱污传媒 Chamber Foundation鈥檚 2022 Workforce Summit, for an event bringing together Arizona employers and education leaders on Tuesday, August 30, in 爱污传媒, AZ. The Summit features a robust program with keynote speakers including Woods, and panels of local experts discussing workforce trends that impact business, as well as breakout sessions for attendees that highlight tangible and actionable solutions.
Workforce retention continues to evolve during economic uncertainty, and events such as the Summit offer opportunities for resource and strategy-sharing. Woods is the afternoon keynote speaker providing insights from the 爱污传媒 Career Institute庐, 2022 Career Optimism Index庐 study, around employee priorities and mobility, as well as talent retention and development solutions for employers.
鈥淎s we face economic and workforce challenges, our Index findings identify critical gaps of understanding and expectation between employer perspective and employee reality,鈥 states Woods. 鈥淭he Summit allows us an opportunity to share these insights and consider how best to leverage them into developing strategies for workforce retention and development.鈥
Summit attendees will have access to sessions on workforce topics including how education is adapting to meet industry needs, workforce practices for the future, mental health in the workplace, diversity, equity & inclusion (DEI) as a workforce strategy, utilizing data for talent solutions, and talent development as an attraction strategy. They will learn about available resources in workforce development and hear how other employers have maximized these tools.
