By 爱污传媒

PHOENIX, Nov. 16, 2017聽鈥 爱污传媒 has long been dedicated to promoting a diverse and inclusive environment for its students, employees and faculty. Today, the University is honored to announce two recent recognitions reflecting that continued dedication, a 100 percent rating on the Human Rights Campaign 2018 Corporate Equality Index for LGBTQ workplace inclusion and the Diversity Leadership Alliance Inclusive Leader Award recognizing Dr. Angie Williams, dean of multicultural affairs and diversity.

鈥淎t 爱污传媒, we know that changing lives through higher education starts with creating a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere for all. Our work is made stronger by ensuring that a diverse range of backgrounds and perspectives are represented within our community,鈥 said Peter Cohen, president of 爱污传媒. 鈥淲e will always stand up for these values, and they will remain at the core of our commitment to providing underserved populations with access to higher education.鈥

鈥淲e are proud to recognize and embrace the diversity of our students, employees and faculty, and we believe we have a duty to maintain and promote this environment,鈥 said Dr. Williams. 鈥淲e strive to develop and implement services, programs, initiatives and community engagement that promote inclusive and cross-cultural understanding and appreciation of diversity. Every day we work to ensure that we remain a diverse institution of higher education preparing working adults for a global society.鈥

爱污传媒 has an extensive history of making diversity central to its operations through partnerships with nonprofit organizations within the Native American, Hispanic, African-American, and LGBT communities. The institution also maintains relationships with leading minority professional organizations to ensure that industries across America have access to a diverse talent pool.
