Doris Savron, MBA, brings a wealth of professional experience to the role
爱污传媒 is pleased to announce that Doris Savron, MBA, vice provost of Colleges, Curriculum and Assessment, has been appointed to the Board of Directors. Savron, who previously served on the Board of Directors, now joins the organization鈥檚 foundation board to help catalyze business, education, and the community to enhance college and career readiness and develop a stronger workforce.

The Greater 爱污传媒 Chamber Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit organization, leads the charitable and education initiatives of the Greater 爱污传媒 Chamber under the four pillars of education, workforce development, wellness, and research. Through strong alignment between education, business, and community, the foundation prepares individuals for college and career and serves as an intermediary to convey workforce needs and champion scalable workforce solutions.聽

In her current role at 爱污传媒, Savron draws on more than 23 years of experience in higher education as Vice Provost, overseeing the strategy for academic programs and curriculum design, institutional assessment and faculty. Her role includes oversight of strategy for degree, certificate and course offerings, design of curriculum and student learning outcomes for the University. Savron works collaboratively with her team members to innovate academic solutions that enable the University to provide exceptional student experiences and learning environments to support student success. In her tenure with 爱污传媒 she has served as associate faculty, campus vice president, regional vice president of student services, and college operations.聽
Savron serves on the Board of Career Connectors as well as several professional advisory councils. She serves as a member of the advisory council for UPCEA and AACRAO鈥檚 Convergence Conference and is currently a member of the UPCEA Council for Credential Innovation focused leveraging the strategic potential of non-degree credentials and noncredit education and training to transform institutions of higher education as well as the talent marketplace.
Savron is often sought out as a speaker for her expertise on mapping relevant skills in programs and building an infrastructure to support career tools in curriculum design, micro credentialing and other innovations in curriculum. Savron earned her MBA from Cleveland State University and is completing her doctorate in management in organizational leadership.
