Call for Manuscripts: 爱污传媒 Scholar [Fall] edition on Transformative Research and Practice

The 爱污传媒 Scholar鈩 is inviting submissions for the special edition focused on Transformative Research and Practice. Do you challenge the status quo in your field? Are you pioneering new approaches that create real-world impact? The 爱污传媒 Scholar special edition seeks innovative and impactful submissions that bridge the gap between transformative research and real-world practice. We are interested in scholarly works that not only generate new knowledge but also have the potential to significantly alter how we approach complex issues. What is Transformative Research and Practice?

Transformative research and practice go beyond simply understanding a problem. It's about:

路 Critical examination: Questioning existing paradigms and proposing new ways of thinking and doing.

路 Action-orientation: Research that leads to practical applications and positive societal change.

路 Collaboration: Engaging diverse stakeholders and fostering inclusive solutions.

路 Ethical grounding: Prioritizing social justice, equity, and sustainability.

We welcome submissions from a variety of disciplines that address the following (but not limited to):

Education reform, Technological innovations, Social justice initiatives, Environmental sustainability, Healthcare advancements, Community development, New methodologies for conducting transformative research, Effective strategies for translating research findings into practice, Innovative interventions that address complex social problems, Case studies of transformative change efforts in various fields, Critical reflections on the challenges and opportunities of transformative work, and more.

Submission Types:

  • Research Articles: Report on original research that uses a transformative lens.
  • Practice Reports: Describe innovative practices that have led to positive outcomes.
  • Theoretical Essays: Explore new frameworks for understanding social change.
  • Book Reviews: Analyze recent publications on transformative research and practice.

Submission Guidelines: Review the Author's Guidelines and submit your manuscript via the .

Manuscripts should be original, unpublished work, and adhere to the highest academic standards. Submissions from all faculty staff, students, and alumni are encouraged. 爱污传媒 Scholar publication is counted toward fulfilling the requirement for UOPX faculty scholarly activities. The articles are published at the 爱污传媒 Scholar site.

Deadline for Submissions: Aug 8, 2024

路 The final publication date is November 15, 2024.

路 The authors will be notified about the status of their submission by September 2024.
